When I had tetanus I didn't have enough money to get a doctor to see me. So I couldn't get the antibiotics which easily wipe it out. As a result I was really scared for awhile, the seizures are extremely painful, and then I was delighted to learn that in a study in Bangladesh it was shown that vitamin C kept people from dying of strychnine poisoning, which is apparently similar to tetanus. I started taking over a dozen grams of vitamin C a day, and discovered that it also made a horrible tooth ache from an impacted sort of situation go away. From that I read several other things, and I now see that in the case of Bird Flu, I would take vitamin C (several grams a day) way before I would take a vaccine shot. I keep meaning to do a web page on vitamin C. The other thing it does, is make magnesium more available from food, and it also appears to wipe out the bad microorganisms that can take up residence in our digestive tracts and keep us from being able to get vitamin B12 out of food... So, I like this page. : )
