- Although it is ironic to have advertisements against advertising, I appreciate the intention of this site - as I've operated all my blogs advertising-free from the start. When bloggers put advertising on their blogs, they giver control over their site to corporations - and don't have solid control over their search value. They also begin to write in pursuit of click-through rates. The best creativity is not done to enhance advertising profit. There are other ways to make money online that don't cheapen a blog.

- Yup. People are supposed to spend hours creating something useful/informative/funny to make you better educated/feel better for nothing. Sounds incredibly fair to me.
