It's a shame people too often wait for a near death experience to appreciate the simplicity of their life and everything in it. That said, please don't hurl yourself down a mine shaft to get the buzz Tim so beautifully describes

A wonderful post that all of us should read...learning how to cherish the moments and the people and things we have...working ourselves to death is never really worth it...it is like falling in to a dark pit and not being able to get out.

Tim, I can honestly say I've never cried when reading a post before but I did with this one. I was right there and felt the emotions of nearly losing my family. A fantastic post with a lot of meaning. Thank you very much for writing this and sharing it.
