agentlemanhost discovered 14 months ago- Interesting debate. It seems that "other religions" are not the only ones pushing for a piece of the mental or financial pie of children. Is this mental and spiritual pedophelia? This kind of behavior on the part of ANY belief system smacks of rampant insecurity that their precepts will drift into disuse over time. It is bad enough that young children are indoctrinated before they develop critical reasoning, lets not stunt their inquisitive minds before they are developed. Free choice as an adult is one thing but this is what got everyone upset with the "brown shirt" indoctrination of the 30'2 and 40's in Europe. If absolutely necessary after school hours independent or structured study is encouraged. Although it wouldn't hurt to keep a balanced perspective. Spirituality is one thing, dogma is an anathema.IMHBAO ;-)
