    pretty sure that last bit on "e-textiles" is bs. stills are from a youtube video where the background is projected realtime over the foreground to make it look transparent... i think?

    Aerogel is cool, but extremely brittle. I totally crushed a piece I got from United Nuclear because I didn't know how fragile it was. Also, it leaches moisture from your skin if left in contact with it for some time.
