"You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one" - John Lennon The name for people that build amazing new things is "entrepreneur", which is basically French for "dreaming against the odds." The dreamers include Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harvard to tweak an Altair, and ended up reselling DOS to IBM under the name... Microsoft. Then there's Steven Jobs, former phone phreak who turned his hippy Zen daydreaming into... Apple Computer. Wall Street deserter Jeff Bezos who left a major Bank, loaded up his Honda Accord and headed to Coffeeville, Seattle, to start an online bookstore called... Amazon.com Dream on Daydreamers... Dream on.

I think it's sort of like programs running in "background" on computers. You just let your mind wander and are not aware of the "processing" going in the background - but it's there. I sometimes write fiction and often get the best ideas randomly during the day and not when I'm actively focusing on the story.

From the page: "People assume that when the mind wanders away it just gets turned off - but we show the opposite, that when it wanders, it turns on..."
