Funny, so thumbs up. However (and I know I won't make any friends saying this), being so dismissive of perhaps the most influential book in world history isn't much better than being dismissive of natural selection. Generations of people wrote the Bible, even more read it, and countless individuals believed it, many who were probably more intelligent than yourself or anyone you've met. You may expand your understanding of and appreciation for your fellow humans and the Bible itself by facing up to those facts. You don't have to agree with the book or its believers in order to learn valuable lessons from them. Be one of the few who aims for a holistic understanding of the human experience, rather than just another partisan blown by the breeze of the moment. Yours Sincerely, An Atheist.

Warnings about a book for what ever turns you on... Comes in two parts, Old and New. Beware, it reflects a sought-after matrix of herders, flockers, sheeple. The shortsighted ideology behind it all: hierarchy, code, power-control.
