No one will ever forget that day and the aftermath.

"Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it." Shame on you nay-sayers! We will never forget and we will never stop honoring those who died, those who helped and those left behind.

Yes, we need to learn from 9-11. But as the site implies there are other tragedies from which valuable lessons can be learned. The monster hurricanes which hit the Gulf Coast (USA) in the summer of 2005 are a prime example. Go back. Re-examine what was done. Determine how it can be done better should another similar situation arise in the future.

LET US NEVER FORGET. It is only the terrorist-supporting mental cases want to forgive and forget about this attack. and who the hell do you think did it, brotherdave? Maybe, just maybe it was the Muslim terrorists who said they did it, and enjoyed it, and planned it.

As Americans, we should be reminded of Sept. 11th, 2001 daily. The media has determined footage & pictures are "too disturbing" for our (apparently) shallow minds, but we should NEVER forget and NEVER become complacent. Of course, the pacifists would rather just sweep it under the rug for the next generation to deal with. It's never a problem for them, unless buildings are falling on their heads.

Regarding the reviews of this site - I dont really feel that this is part of an obsession with the dead!!! It is an issue of respect for the survivors, family of the lost ones, and an excellent recording of HISTORY - to never forget the horrid events that happened here, to LEARN from... Respect for the dead is NOT something that this country initiated - it has long since been observed in other countries. Why are people that are unaffected by tragedy unable to understand the significant value these things can have upon history?? How could you say things like "I am so sick of the 911 event" or "Why is this country so obsessed with the dead"??? What I would ask is, why is this country so full of self centered people that cannot realize what a huge impact this has on history - it should be preserved, wheteher you want to look at it or not. Just kicks my ass to see stuff like this being said. Sorry to go on a rant, you have the right to say exactly what you think... but then again, I do too.

so glad someone's doing this memorial--there are some things no one should ever forget, so we can act wisely....
