I am a music tech major DON'T USE THIS IT IS ALL GAIN it will destroy the quality... maybe the average person just doesnt notice it, but, if you are not using it to just get more volume from somthing like laptop speakers, this is THE WORST eq setting you can use... the best eq'a are a combination of boosting NO MORE that 3 or 4 Db's and CUTTING volume on other frequency's to compensate; then just turn the volume up to get more sound. You'll get an extremely better quality sound.

FYI: The iPod is just an MP3 player, the AirPort is just a wireless router, and iTunes is a sales vehicle.
