No, this isn't a comprehensive listing of every discovery or achievement in science or technology, but every item in these lists are things that should be known by a well rounded human being in order to better appreciate their place in the world.

Good idea but, like others have said - very little info on a variety of the lists (e.g. the chronology of photography contains three items???)
