Why the fuck would I want over 200 friends? All my SU friends I actually know in person.

For StumbleUpon the 200 friend limit was restricting. You can abuse it even at lower rates if you're so determined. This is much better.

http://blog.stumbleupon.com/friends_fans_changes Announced in the SU blog in August! I discussed this w/a few SU fans who say they *like* the limit. I can see keeping friends to limit otherwise, wow, u would *live* on SU!
