Print Is Dead; Long Live Print It's official. Nobody reads anymore. I didn't need the recent National Endowment for the Arts survey to confirm this. Its November report "To Read or Not to Read" says that reading books among all age groups, especially teens, has dropped precipitously over the past five years. Consider this: 15- to 24-year-olds spend only 7-10 minutes per day on voluntary reading. And 35 percent of those who do read, are doing something else (IMing, emailing, playing videogames) while they're reading.
