- This is a great site, one of the few where you can try before you download, yes there is a small percentage of fonts that you have to buy but the large amount is free, shareware!

- 1001Fonts.com is a great resource for obtaining free fonts. I have downloaded several thematic TrueType fonts from this site and never encountered any pop-up ads. I recently discovered that one can use these TrueType fonts even when composing messages in Webmail (like Yahoo! Mail and Gmail). The way I have found to do this is to first compose my message in Word with the downloaded font and then copy and paste this message in my Webmail message (opened with Internet Explorer).

- Yes, there is a bit too much advertising. However, the free fonts available are more than worth it.
