The picture of Condoleeza Rice answers a few questions for Stargate fans. Seriously, though, these people are just trying to sell a photo. It has to appeal to the news agencies that are going to be buying it and objective journalism is a thing of the past.

nothing wrong with retouching its just art. admire the photo, no conclusions must be jumped to from looking at it

Its a really good reminder that not everything we see in a newspaper necessarily has to be 'true'. We need to read and look with critical eyes at anything that is being fed to our brains - and its turning into something that we do less and less.

How can we trust the news if photos are being altered for ideological and commercial reasons? Disturbing.

Pretty unbelievable. It's hard to imagine how far this will go as technology continues to improve.
