Books should not be banned. All ideas should be allowed to freeflow. People have choices as to whether they wish to read a book or not. A government should not dictate what can and cannot be read based on THEIR morals or any other values. Do check out this site.

I especially like the entry about the banned book "Little house on the Prarie" by Laura Ingalls Wilder...offensive to indians???? Well this indian had the entire set of books as a child and read them many times...Love Them....hmmm I think I am going to have to dig them out of the closet again....

- We are fortunate to live in a country where we can go out with a list like this and borrow or purchase just about every item on it, go back home, do whatever we want with the books, then return them without worry.Many of these banned titles are books that have been my favorites for years. I couldn't bear to think of it being illegal or prohibited to own them, read them, or be known to have read them.
