(Okay, maybe only 95%.)Some of the founders/contributors are well known women - Lily Tomlin,... more

Okay, those are going to be well known names to the target audience - to teens, I'm fairly sure not so nearly well known. The site strongly encourages comments from readers.I've read about 10 articles and they varied from excellent to ummm . . . well brief. The comments - certainly an important part of the site - varied considerably. A lot of the comment sections seemed to degenerate pretty quickly into an ignorant mess of "your politics is dumber than mine" crap that irritates me to no end. (This seems to be symptomatic of American politics these days - no matter the gender or age.)I've put this site on RSS - but I don't know. At this point, I'm more impressed with the concept than the actual execution. Still, the site is in its early stages. I have hope, cautious hope. Women of a certain age (what a phrase) have learned about hope, but also have learned to be realistic.A number of the founders/contributors are well known women - Lily Tomlin, Lesley Stahl, Liz Smith, etc.. From the page: "She even lied to the vet about her dog's age" she was so used to lying". Well that was fiction!!!!!!

Finally a site for women over 40- the forgotten (but secretly powerful) deomgraphic. Site hasn't launched yet but the contributers are an all-star team: Lily Thomlin, Liz Smith, Peggy Noonan, Leslie Stahl, Whoopi Goldberg, Julia Reed, Candace Bergman, the list goes on.
