Can you believe this prick...He character assassinates Hugo Chavez for destroying the democratic institutions that protect the rights of citizens and look at what he does? The hypocrisy of this president (he doesn't deserve a capital P) is far reaching. Oh, can you say Japanese internment camps Part 2? Immigrants be ready. Don't do what you did in LA for May Day...Stand your ground and lets start this bitch.

Never thought I'd see Martial Law in this country. Very scarey.

Ummm, this already happened, it's called the "Patriot Act". Unless I was just dreaming the last six years. 'Cause that would be awesome!

Anyone know if there is any truth to this claim that Bush has granted himself additional powers that by-pass congressional approval or oversight? If so, this is frightening.

Bush has been claiming for awhile that he as commander-in-chief has inherent broad war making powers in cases of emergencies and that he can by-pass Congress, but that just flies in the face of our Constitution and Republic. Such a claim not only goes against the explicit text of the U.S. Constitution, but it also goes against what the framers wanted and republican government in general, including the enumeration of powers, separation of powers, and checks and balances. ALL the evidence--and I mean ALL the evidence (Explicit text from the U.S. Constitution, Supreme Court decisions, evidence from the Constitutional Convention, state ratifying conventions, etc..) and there is NO credible evidence to support Bush's asinine backing of the unitary executive doctrine--unless you take notes from the pages of the Stuart Kings of the 17th Century.
