Far from prefect, but still very useful. If you already are familiar to a language it can be hilarious (f.e. translating french to dutch often is) and if you don't have a clue (like russian to me) it can be very practical. Just to have an idea of what's going on.

Useful for short simple sentences. Not infallible - try translating a phrase into another language then back into english. Quite often it bears little relation to the original

Not too useful for actually translating. But absolutely hilarious for translating around until you get garble...
