- What a load of shit. No one was freaking going to arrest Rumsfeld. Do people really not have the common sense to understand how this would affect foreign relations? Not to mention France is headed rightward.

Hardly, but it's certainly better than nothing. It would be nice to think that criminals like Rumsfeld would be under similar danger anywhere outside the US of A. That'll take a while.
Be even better when he's finally put under that threat within the US of A; along with his co-defendants, Cheney, Rove, Gonzales etc etc - "Rumsfeld must be feeling how Saddam Hussein felt when US forces were hunting him down"
