Dream4Distance rated 15 months ago- Wixi is an open-source cross-platform desktop wiki implementation based on simple txt2tags formatting. As of this review, the app (version 0.76) is a little raw as of yet and doesn't really compare to TomBoy or Wikidpad but it is still extremely simple to use, makes history/versioning seem extremely simple, and also earns high marks for being truely cross-platform. Also highly recommended for those that already use txt2tags markup or python/wxpython enthusiasts.
