I never thought about that before. I visit the doctor on average once every two years. This year I got mono, and 2 years ago it was beaver fever (that one hurts). I definitely pay more into the health care system in Canada than I get out of it. But some day when I'm old, or when I have kids it will even itself out because I will use the system more. As an added plus, work injuries are paid by the Workers compensation board. Not the health care system. Of those, I have many.
