Wow. No matter where in the world you are from, some things never change. Good people and bad government in the end cost 49 (plus however many of Kira's bodyguard were killed) men their life. All while trying to uphold ancient customs and traditions set forth by the ruling class in an attempt to control their societies.
Seems a somewhat common theme in human history. Is the solution ending armed and violent conflicts? Is it reducing freedom and discretion of armed persons? Is it just smashing it all down with the force of a "Divine Wind" and starting over?
So many things are up in the air now. It just makes me sad to think these same problems, in various form, have been plaguing mankind for centuries.
Never mind, what am I doing? I gotta go back to my television and McDonald's, filling body and mind with worthless garbage, and paying my taxes like a good little prole. Yay Bush!!! Vote for McCain in 2008!!!
