- It is an interesting idea that the age old method of collecting bookmarks and displaying them in a dedicated, heirarchical menu (which I believe, dates back to NCSA mosaic) should be finally replaced. While the 'bookmark menu' arrangement never really hindered me in my surfing habits, it is both a relic of a bygone era (the slow, bottleneck connections which stopped people actually collecting that many bookmarks) and incapable of handling large numbers of bookmarks, and the time is right for its overhaul.
May Mozilla's final implementation of 'places' be a tremendous one!
