    We saw through the Israeli assertion that they were not deliberately targeting the civilian population when they dropped all those anti-personnel bombs on Lebanon- just hours after they knew that they were going to declare truce. Why should we believe them now? after all, a population that is busy helping with the wounded and the dead, is effectively removed from fighting the enemy. The US acted on the same philosophy in Viet Nam so we know it works.
