byte converter. because sometimes you like using an easy calculator instead of your head. Although this would be much better if it included terabytes and petabytes too...just in case

Get some terabytes and petabytes (maybe even yottabytes) in there and it might be a little more interesting.

of course this works! 1kb = 1024b! if you change 1073741824 to 107374182 your not just removing 4 bytes your removing 966367642 bytes! DUH.

all these years i thought one kilobyte was 1000 bytes...but i checked this with a music file on my computer and it says 6.72 MB (7,050,693 bytes)...always wondered why that didnt match up..

this shit is fucked... 1 kilobyte is 1000 bytes. look it up
