GeekAlerts rated 6 months ago- The next frontier for social media and networks, data portability, is right around the corner. However, the big question here is: "What about the quality of data?"

psogle rated 6 months ago- I hope that they don't mean they are going to throw all of my data to more advertisers

rjj rated 6 months ago- From the page: "Google has just added a new dimension by adding an API for linking social networks including MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress and a host of others." An interesting article about the value and the consequences of this initiative.

Lizsun rated 6 months ago- Is your data as portable as you think it might be? What will you do when it is?

miguelstil rated 6 months ago- The fun has just begun... with Google trying to unite the social media sites (make allies if you cannot win the war) into an apparent beneficial venture: the social media sites go mobile. All of them. Now you'll never miss a message from your fellow diggers! Digg in time, it's now or never. Oh, I see the potential, of course... but I don't see the real value. For Google this means creating the perfect environment to display more ads.
