KellyRigby discovered 6 months ago- completely agree. teaching is not given its due in money or status.

novarainnoval rated 5 months ago- Teachers are not paid enough. They are not babysitters but educators to the next generation. It is such a shame that quality of education continue to decrease because of lack of funding.

1Gypsyrose rated 5 months ago- very well written

MrBelding rated 5 months ago- Teachers are never given their due, great perspective.

gbarberi1 rated 5 months ago- Excellent Math here! I wonder if fellow stumbler ybfree read the entire article?

TwoWorlds rated 5 months ago- Nice thought, but teachers are NOT babysitters and should never be called so.

ybfree rated 5 months ago- hmm...most of these "critics" would not survive a day in the classroom

PTT rated 5 months ago- From the page: "The average teacherâ€s salary (nation wide) is $50,000. $50,000/180 days = $277.77/per day/30 students=$9.25/6.5 hours = $1.42 per hour per studentâ€"a very inexpensive baby-sitter and they even EDUCATE your kids!)"

M-Nome rated 5 months ago- It is sad how we treat the people in charge of future generations.
