- A handy online service for converting FLV format videos (like those used in YouTube and other video-community sites) to more common and easily played AVI files. I personally use the UnPlug firefox plugin to download the videos and then MediaCoder to do batch transcodes, but this is good for occasional/non-techie use.

- I was unable to find a FLV to (anything) convertor when I searched exhaustively for one some months ago, so although I'd prefer a downloable PC version to save the immense upload time, this is a step in the right direction
