sargt000 rated 8 months ago- VH makes up for the lack of her friday feast last week. superbly. let's discuss cross-border shopping. i'm a big fan of cross border shopping. not necessarily because it's cheaper, but because you americans have better stuff, when it comes to certain things. like, you have different cosmetics. i'm not much of a make up girl, but you have neutrogena cosmetics. we don't. you have awesome bras. yes - bras. you have victoria's secret, we have la senza. not the same. this usually means that after i go across the border to buy new ginchies, i'm one of those people tearing off tags and layering on 5 pairs of underwear and 4 bras, kicking off my old crappy shoes and slipping on my new, $60 cheaper chacos. BUT, because i'm from BC and here in BC we don't believe in littering*, i use the garbage can. usually in the mexican restaurant i MUST visit in bellingham, because it's actually good, authentic mexican food, and i'm likely in the bathroom layering on my new clothes. because the border guard has never seen THAT before. the key is to always mention that you bought SOMETHING. and always make sure it's the underwear, because if anything makes a middle aged tight assed border guard uncomfortable, it's women talking about the new bras they just bought. they always just wave you through. never mention the 10 bottles of $3 wine you picked up at target. *most of us don't believe in littering. in fact, most of us recycle everything to the point we're just damn obnoxious. our stereotype: we all smoke weed and recycle anything that moves. probably pretty close to the truth.
