- My only concern here is how it'll handle a hailstorm. Being from Dallas/Fort Worth you have to be able to withstand some good hailstorms.

serendpd rated 9 months ago- thin-film photovoltaic demonstration ... perfect for camps that already employ steel roofs I would think?

jbet777 rated 12 months ago- VIDEO Installation of the stainless steel panels seemed painless. Stan Oshinsky deserves much credit for the thin film solar process!

preston41 rated 12 months ago- I like this, but I wish they would show a picture of the apex after the roof is all done to see what it looks like and how they finish the roof.

millerfamily rated 13 months ago- nstalling clean, reliable, inflation-proof solar power is easier than ever, thanks to the invention of thin-film photovoltaic (PV) ... all » laminates that can be bonded directly onto metal roofing panels. Unlike crystalline PV material, there's no need for obtrusive racks and heavy, expensive glass. Instead, unbreakable thin-film PV is produced using amorphous silicon, encapsulated in Teflon and other polymers. «

ropama rated 13 months ago- I Like it. I wonder how costly? Probably not too bad.

LeonardoDaVinci rated 14 months ago- Sounds impressive. I'd like to look into this more. Several technologies similar to this are coming up now, particularly from Sharp Solar (www.hellowsunshineusa.com).
