- Yes, this could be Venezuela's demise. It's possible. But what model do we base that claim on? If we choose to say something doesn't work because others failed at it, we should have chosen to abolish capitalism long ago. If you believe capitalism has worked for the united states, you are are lost. The settlers freed themselves from the grasp of England and their leaders were mostly wise, but the greedy hands of capitalism have stolen the nation from the white house and from us. We claim to spread democracy even though we are a republic with people who can't feed their families. How can you spread something you don't have? The people of Venezuela are strong and wise. They can maintain their power and make it grow if they stay awake. Chavez has been given a lot of power. Let us hope he always holds up to his end of the bargain. He is only a man, after all. But he is just as capable to succeed and hand the nation over to the people and I believe when that happens, Venezuela will never again have representation. Bravo, Venezuela!

- Very interesting video. Those poor people, smiling and laughing as they fasten the chains of their own enslavement to the state. They are happy now, enjoying the loot, but after they eat it all, I fear for their lives.
