- Dear xzelif. This is evidence of nothing. Even in the unlikely event that the situation as described by McGovern actually happened, the conclusion being implied here is absurd. Perhaps even Cheney is a better person than we imagine and he was giving the order to not shoot down the passenger airliner with many innocent lives. Though this sound bite of testimony is very intriguing, it only points the fact that the executive branch needs to be more transparent and cooperative with independent investigations. It does not in any way suggest a conspiracy.
