- The Chinese government is a disgrace. At best, they are a cabal of zealots, mobsters, and murderers. Perhaps a more appropriate epithet would be that they are a group-think version of Josef Stalin. Grotesque.

- I like the Chinese, their strength and viciousness will carry them far in a world which is turned on such things. I still hold hope that there can be room for more than that. So i click my little thumb and pass the story on :P

- one of the many sad realities that exist in this world...that Chinese soldiers would take such action on a group of pilgrims on their way to see the Dalai Lama in India...horrific. In the words of Tuono"Watch this, then think about it when you go shopping at Wal-Mart, or Home Depot, or when you take out a mortgage to buy a home. If you don't understand the connection, do some reading and make the connection yourself." Seriously...that our government would ally itself commercially with a government that takes this sort of action on a group of people is a tragedy in and of itself. That our society has become so inundated with products originating in China, without regard for what that nation stands for, is pitiful, in my humble opinion.

- The foreign hikers filmed seem so nonchalant, one of them can only say he's "not used to this." That bothers me more than anything.

- Just seen '7 Years in Tibet' tonight... some story how it all 'began'... It moved me to stumble upon some Tibetian facts... and this came out... nevertheless this is just a movie shot not long ago... Wish this will stop soon!
