alainjournalist rated 8 weeks ago- Always interesting stuff on the Vancouver Green Business Journal. It would be nice if our governments looked after the best interests of the voters and not the best interests of the corporations that fill their coffers. When will Health Canada grow a spine and protect Canadians? Phthalates and BPA are dangerous to the health of all Canadians, not just babies. There are no safe levels. Please show me studies that prove that there are safe levels. Make them independent, long-term studies that prove it. I doubt they can. I'm sure there are many scientists at Health Canada that know there are none but they're muzzled by a government department more concerned with the health of corporations than the health of Canadians. Perhaps if our "leaders" were more concerned about health than campaign contributions, they could see that if they improved the health of Canadians by protecting them from toxic substances, they could begin to cut healthcare costs. What's the real cost of cancer?

- In this page is an interesting fact of Toyota destroying their new rav-4 because they want people to switch back to gasoline. It shows an example of how one man was able to buy his, He loves the environment and has only filled up for gasoline once. and occasional oil changes. When his wife went to buy hers, Toyota said "NOPE" were destroying the rav-4's. You know this is almost like the "Electric car" incident with the ev-1's by GM. Those interested in the environment, I suggest taking a look.
