cybermouse rated 6 months ago- Best article on relationships...

heartofthecity rated 6 months ago- thought-provoking little article..

Tymethief rated 6 months ago- From the page: "That's what "I don't need you," means to me. It means, "Despite the fact that I'd be okay without you, I still want to be with you - for no other reason than because I like you, care about you, want you, and love you completely for the person you are." I like rose petals and ice cubes as much as the next girl, sure - but being truly loved without being needed, what could be more romantic than that?"
I'm not sure I could be as strong as the person that wrote this.- From the page: "That's what "I don't need you," means to me. thunderforce rated 6 months ago- I truly agree with the author.... Just wish more people were aware of that :)

erithbabalon rated 7 months ago- Remarkably cool insight, expressed succinctly. Relationship dependency based on need is eventually going to fail due to one party or the other moving away from the symbiosis. I like the concept that love, in itself can exist without being held hostage to conditions or unspoken contracts. But it's rare.

Chocomarine rated 7 months ago- Yes, exactly. Thank you.

Redunkulous rated 7 months ago- Sweet zombie Jesus. Uh-mazing. Now, to work on that whole "being a person worth being with" thing.

papercatchonfire rated 7 months ago- This is a very interesting approach to dealing with relationships, not just intimate but all sorts of relationships. I think the writer made a great presentation on her ideas while still showing her acceptance to the widely held views of society. I wish more people would be open to this type of thinking, all too often we are exposed to 'find prince charming' and find a perfect match which leaves a lot of broken hearts along the way.

- Good idea to think about. Really, is it necessary to be needed? I think when someone needs the other person, it does not mean love, it means that he depends on her. It's better to love not for the sake of some things, but in spite of some things ;)
