This has been making the rounds for the past five years that I know of, and I have gotten very tired of pointing this out to people, but once more, this is not a quotation from Shakespeare. Not only does it not sound a thing like Shakespeare, it includes key words that didn't exist until practically the 20th century. And given that I carry the entire text of Julius Caesar in my head, I can guarantee that it's not from that play. Sorry. Nothing objectionable about the sentiment. Take off the attribution and it's fine, just dully stated.

Shakespeare wouldn't be this banal and prosaic. "narrows the mind"? "mind has closed?" Cant, cant, cant. O for a muse of Fire.... -1 for misattribution.
