The first edit before he used the alt function was much better. And really, people, contrasty isn't a word and never was.

its very basic on using levels, but very fast and roughly explained. if you want to get better tutorials try lynda.com or get a total training DVD. you get what you pay for after all.

The first tutorial is very good for Levels, but then it seems to take you to a paid for section of the site. I've signed up for the newsletter - so we shall see if they really do deliver 45 minutes of free tutorials, or just more spam. I shall report back what happens.

Nice tutorial on how to use level adjustments in photoshop. I have always wondered the best way to do this and this takes a lot of the error out of the trials. It even offers two ways to do it.

While I frequently use Levels in Photoshop, I have learned only by trial and error. It's wonderful to find tutorials that bring you up a level or two in your own "levels".
