I see people like this online every day. They don't really believe the crap they're spouting, they've just heard that confidence is a guy/chick-magnet, and they try way too hard to look confident.

No, that really only shows how stupid you are. Would you react if she only wanted to date tall or dark-haired men? Of course not. But skin colour is something entirely different, eh? Once again, of course it's not. You can have preferences and tastes without being racist. I don't find black people particularly attractive myself, and I'm sure a lot of them return the favour, but that doesn't mean I think less of them as people - at all.
