tipping at a place of business where some one is already getting a decent hourly wage is against my religion, or hell, theyre getting a shitty wage, i dont care. if youre working behind a counter, you dont get shit. no ones tipping me for printing millions of checks a day.

The people actually working hard to cook your steak perfectly, make sure your burger doesn't have mayo and pickles on it, ensure that your salad has its dressing on the side and the many other substitutions picky eaters feel they are entitled to. The people who make your food are not paid well. If you get what you want and maybe that little bit more, then it's nice to give that little bit more too. However if it's not great, not tipping is certainly a wake up call.
