It really is too bad that human rights abuses have only escalated in China since the announcement of the games. I'm quite ambivalent on the Free Tibet campaign, but the truth is that there have been some pretty egregious abuses by the Chinese government.

I agree - the Beijing Olympics should be protested. But to be fair, if the Olympics were being held here in the U.S.,
shouldn't we be boycotted as well? Wouldn't our logo have prisoners being tortured at Guantanamo Bay?
I think the Olympics should be held in Antarctica. The government there seems to treat people pretty well.
