Photographer Thomas Hawk expresses his anger at being forcibly ejected from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art by the visitor relations manager for taking photographs after getting express permission to take those photographs. Hawk is an artist and reckons that a museum that is about modern art should be more respectful of artists and respectful of patrons. I'd have to agree, although I can't say I'd have been very happy to be one of those patrons having my photo taken by a stranger for his art, not knowing where my picture was going to be used.

Read how the SF MOMA forcibly ejects photographers from the premises after they openly advertised that they allow photographs to be taken there.
