Reminds me of the movie "The Peaceful Warrior" how his mentor taught him to be present in the moment. And that the destination (i.e. wherever he was going) wasn't that important, but that you found happiness in the journey, each and every moment of life. Great post.

Uh... Babies aren't happy guys, babies are associated with crying FOR A REASON. Everything is shocking, painful, and stressful for infants. They have no way to deal with stress, no way to communicate, and no callouses.

Why is it that once we become adults, we become so serious all the time (generally speaking). We get so caught up in the hectic race of everyday life that we forget that we are here to experience joy, to experience Life. We forget to smile and enjoy the beauty of the present moment. I notice that I fall into the many demands of my life story. Recently, I have gotten so busy that a week can pass without realizing. I donâ€t get the chance to slow down once to reflect and to be present. I seem to fall into the pattern of constantly living in the future, running after that next goal or achieving that next task on my never-ending list of Todos. Let's take this moment to slow down, just for a few minutes.

As a newly ordained priest of the church, it's probably just right that I quote you a verse from the book. From the book of Dudeism, Peter (Pan) 11:11 - And it is written... Behold and see the beauty of the world through the eyes and innocence of the children. Laugh, cry, babble, wobble, doodle, and dabble as you please. Just remember that when your diaper starts stinking DO NOT, and I say again, DO NOT refuse offers of help by grown ups. Turn both cheeks and rejoice in the glory of your salvation. For you are being changed, forgiven, and washed of your unholy mess. Yay! Bayhbeh! You may freely speak in tongues now.

A great reminder to go back to the basis of re-discovering your inner child.

One more great post from Tina which reminds me those happy days in childhood. Lower your expectations, and become more happy. This is my simple formula. What does a child expect ? Simply nothing. Everything is quite interesting for a child...
