A good woman passed on today. Molly Ivins stood up for what she believed with humor and grace and encouraged the people around her to do the same. She did her part, and she will be missed.

- I rarely agreed with her stance on political issues, but my goodness Molly Ivins had a fire in her belly which she dished out generously with Texas wit and charm. She was a legendary Texan who will be missed.
