    "Write because you like to, not because you hope to get paid." I hope no one reading this list plans on writing for a living. You should be writing for both reasons, but if you can only choose one, write because you hope to get paid. No one's going to pay you because you enjoy writing.

    "It's a question asked every ten seconds by aspiring writers around the globe: How can I improve my writing?" Answer: Don't use stupid lead-ins. Seriously, one of the "tips" is "use paragraphs".
