    I tried to do this once, but it didn't work out. I think you have to be quite flexible with timing - when I called they said 'well the ship is supposed to sail on the 17th, but it could be 3 days or a week later. We're not really sure' It sounded like it was going to be quite pricey as well. Sounds like a cool experience though.

    This would be awesome to experience once in my lifetime...but I'm now fearful of modern-day pirates hijacking the cargo ship and holding everyone hostage for ransom...or worse, being left for dead. X_x

    You know, I honestly didn't know you could still do this. The summer after I finish my college? Might be a good thing to do. A unique thing to do at least.
