The Hubby and I watched this tonight. I had never even heard of it and really had no idea what to expect. You know those movies that are just so deep and moving and beautiful and after they are over with you sit there going, "Hmmmm." Yeah, it's one of those. I have a feeling I will be thinking about this one for a while.

An AMAZING movie. No other words for it. Never mind the tacky promo voice over at the start. This is TRUE science fiction and not action laden crappy sci-fi. There's some screen savers for windows users here.

An extremely beautiful flawed and romantic film. It's these ravishing qualities, brought by director Darren Aronofsky and the art director Matthew Libatique that may ultimately seduce you into accept the hokum premise of living forever that has been intriguing us since story-telling began. The hoary old quest for eternal youth is as old as the hills in most cultures: Tithonus, Faust, the Wandering Jew, the Elixir of Life, the Cauldron of Rebirth. The first screen you come to is doubling as my screen saver, it's that good. The trailer is breath-taking. I'm sold on this one.

I saw this movie last night, and I think it is quite possibly the most beautiful film I have ever seen.

I cannot wait for this movie to come out. Darren Aronofsky is one of my favorite directors, and this looks phenomenal.
