Charislynx rated 5 months ago- Yup, I see my little dot right there.

BoredSenseless rated 5 months ago- These pictures are quite stunning. They are also about as real as the Balrog in Fellowship of the Ring. I first got them in an email a while back, where they were attributed to some astronaut on a shuttle mission (if I remember right, the astronaut was also female and African-American). As I stumble, I see them here and there on the web. They aren't real, people. This polar view is the best giveaway, but most are pretty obvious. Given that the "photos" show the entire globe at night, the point of view has to be precisely opposite the sun, because half of the globe is always lit, right? Given what we know about earth-sun relationships, that point can never be more than 23.5 degrees north or south of the equator. Any point of view farther north or south will always show a sliver (or more) or sunlight. As we said in 8th grade, I call bullshit. Not that I don't appreciate doctored photos as much as the next guy, but own up to 'em. I'll shut up now...
