- From the page: "Asked if she believed homosexuality was immoral, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton declined to answer the question in a television interview this morning and said it was for "others to conclude."
Yet another reason NOT to vote for Hillary. You have to stand up for what you believe in, even if it costs you some votes (because NOT standing up for things in which you believe is going to cost you votes anyway because people will see you for the vote-whore that you really are).
Rrrick rated 19 months ago- Asked if she believed homosexuality was immoral, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton declined to answer the question in a television interview this morning and said it was for "others to conclude."Mrs. Clinton, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, supports allowing gays to serve, which would amount to a change in her husband's "don't ask don't tell" policy. She has also been aggressively courting gay voters and groups in recent weeks. Some gay groups have been critical of Mrs. Clinton's refusal to support gay marriage, however, though she does support civil unions.Asked on ABC News today if she agreed with General Pace's view that homosexuality was immoral, Mrs. Clinton said: "Well I'm going to leave that to others to conclude." She added, "I'm very proud of the gays and lesbians I know who perform work that is essential to our country, who want to serve their country and I want make sure they can."I hope this is just the press being the press. I can't imagine Hillary is a phobe, but I've been wrong before. I can see this fueling the fire for those conservative bigot Hillary haters. Or maybe they'll like her now (God forbid).General's Comments Rekindle Debate Over Gays In The MilitaryGeneral Pace gave his personal opinion on Gays in the military in a Chicago Tribune interview, saying he thought homosexuality was "immoral" and while the Gay community and many politicians believe the General should appologize, Pace is sticking by his comments saying he refused to appologize for his own personal beliefs and that it has no reflection on the U.S. military law which does not permit homosexuals in the military to openly admit that they are gay or for the military itself to ask.I suspect somebody put this guy up to this. It all seems so perfectly choreographed. What are people so afraid of. Do they think some of that gay is gonna rub off on em'? If Jesus were here, he'd kick their conservative "Christian" asses.
