It sounds as though they don't bother going through the entirety of a game to check if it works all the way to the end. I'm not surprised in the least.

Gamestop used to piss me off so much. They'd never have the games I'd want. Back when I did console games, way back in the snes and genesis days and later ps1, they would have a price sheet with their games, and how much it cost. If you'd pick five choices, they might have one of them. After a few times of that, washed my hands of them.
