    Several years ago, we were told that it was better to leave our computers on rather than keep turning them off and on. We were told that it is harder on the computer from a wear and tear perspective to turn them off and on than to leave them on. So which is it boys? Make up your minds.

    My brother owned a computer repair business for years and always recommended shutting off computers at the end of the day. He said it could extend the life of the computer by a year or more. I'm all for saving electricity, money and extending the longevity of my computer and found this article confirmation to shut her down when I'm done.
